What Is Spray Coating?

At KeepMe, we offer both exterior and interior spray coating. Exterior coating covers the outside of the bottle in your chosen colour and can be applied as a full coat, partial coat, or in combination with masking techniques to create patterns and zones. Interior coating applies colour to the inside surface, creating a rich, luminous effect where the colour glows through the glass walls. This is particularly popular for candle jars where the lit flame enhances the colour effect.
Finish options range from high-gloss lacquer to soft matte, frosted, and metallic pearl effects. All coatings are matched to your exact Pantone reference, ensuring brand-accurate colour reproduction across every production batch. The coating is cured for durability, providing resistance to handling and everyday wear.
The Process
Colour Matching
Your specified Pantone colour is matched using our paint formulation system. A colour sample is prepared for your approval before production begins.
Surface Preparation
Bottles are cleaned and treated to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Any masking is applied for partial coating or pattern effects.
Spray Application
Paint is applied using automated spray equipment that ensures even, consistent coverage. Multiple layers may be applied depending on the finish and opacity required.
Curing & Quality Control
Coated bottles are cured in a controlled environment to harden the finish. Each bottle is inspected for colour consistency, coverage uniformity, and defect-free surfaces.
