Frequently Asked Questions
Find quick answers to common enquiries about this service
Yes, we provide free storage for plain glass bottles, vials, and standard fragrance components for up to 1 year from the EXW (Ex Works) date. This service is designed to help brands manage cash flow and reduce inventory risk while maintaining component availability for future production runs.
Our stockholding service covers plain glass bottles and vials, standard caps and closures, pumps and spray systems, and other primary fragrance components. Decorated components, custom moulds, and secondary packaging can be stored subject to terms. Contact us to discuss your specific component requirements.
By stockholding plain glass, we can offer lower MOQs for decoration services. Instead of ordering 5,000+ decorated bottles, you can decorate smaller batches (1,000-2,000 units) from your stockholding as needed. This provides flexibility for testing markets, seasonal launches, or limited editions without large upfront commitments.
Standard lead times for glass production and decoration typically run 120 days. With stockholding, this reduces to 60-80 days as we only need to complete decoration rather than full production. For urgent requirements, we can often turn around decorated components from stock in 4-6 weeks.
After 1 year, we discuss options including: extending storage (potential fees may apply), scheduling production runs to utilise the stock, or arranging collection/delivery. We provide regular stock reports and proactive reminders as the 1-year period approaches to help you plan effectively.
Yes, we provide live stock reporting showing current quantities, component specifications, storage duration, and availability status. This allows you to make informed decisions about production planning, reorder timing, and inventory management without manual stock checks.
Typical stockholding arrangements begin with a commitment to regular production volumes. We recommend initial orders of 10,000+ units to make stockholding economically beneficial. Our team can advise on the optimal stockholding strategy based on your anticipated demand, launch schedule, and budget constraints.
