Acid Etching

Acid etching, also known as chemical frosting, is a glass decoration technique that creates a permanently frosted surface by treating the glass with a chemical solution. The result is a soft, translucent finish with a distinctive tactile quality that conveys elegance and sophistication. It is one of the most enduring and premium finishes available for glass bottles.

Unlike spray-applied frosted coatings, acid etching modifies the glass surface itself, producing a texture that cannot be scratched off or worn away.
